What
is a game server?
A game server is a piece of computer hardware that allows gamers to play
against each other over the Internet.
What
is a game port?
A game port is a port on a game server. Most game servers will be configured
to run more than one game port.
Why
would I want one?
Often clans or individuals wish for their own private server for matches
or a clan practice.
Which
games to NBKServers host?
Currently we are running Counsterstrike Source servers, Half-Life2, Battlefield2, Medal of Honour. We are pretty much willing to run
any game and if you wish for something we will be more than willing to
put a quote together.
How
much control would I get over my own private server?
The Clan Leader will be given full rcon access and we will allow clans
to have their own server configs as well as map rotations. There will
also be a limited amount of space for custom maps.
How
much does a server cost?
There are now prices for servers posted on the main page and you will
find a link on the left to rent a server the prices are contained in there.
All prices are negotiable in terms of putting together a package, we realise
that each clan will have its own specific requirements and are willing
to do a specific quote to all our customers.
How
long would it take to set a server up?
To set a server for someone wouldn't take that long. It would depend on
the game and what the customer wanted, whether we have to get any new
hardware and how long the payment takes to clear. Typically it will be within 5 working days.

do I sign up?
